We are delighted to announce the signing of Estiaan Schonfeldt as our Young Overseas Amateur for the 2023 season.
Estiaan is a right handed hard hitting top order batter and right arm leg spinner from Rustenburg in South Africa.
He currently plays for Impala Cricket Club in the North West Region of South Africa and so far this year he’s scored 605 runs in 8 innings with 1 x 50, 1 x 100 and one double century.
In 2022 he travelled over to Northern Ireland and played for Downpatrick Cricket Club in the Northern Cricket Union and he scored 825 runs in 15 innings at an average of 58.93 and took 30 wickets at an average of 13.07.
We look forward to welcoming Estiaan to the Applegarth in April and hope he has a great season with us.
